Valle de Leyda, Valle de San Antonio, Region de Aconcagua, ChileTasted the 2011 during the heat wave in southern Ontario and did it ever deliver. Like the 2010, Santa Carolina has nailed the fresh, mineral aspects of this variety with light, seawater, grapefruit and watermelon flavours. The style is refreshing without the aggressive, bitter asparagus notes in the finish but rather light, smoky jalapeno and juicy guava notes.
