Russian River, Sonoma County, California, United StatesSpicy, nutty, waxy, floral nose with peach, honey, vanilla, lemon and green apple aromas. Round, fresh, elegant, slightly warm palate but with bright acidity and finesse. More spicy, nutty, earthy, honey, baked apple flavours flecked with peach and green mango. Fine delicacy and finesse with a toasty, baked apple finish. Seems a bit lighter and delicate than Ma Douce. The cuttings are a field selection of the old Wente clone.
