Laughing Stock Vineyards Viognier +7/10 2010

Naramata Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaWe were hoping for a leaner version but year two looks a lot like year one. Look for a spicy, grassy, grapefruit, honey, lees nose with bits of buttered popcorn and some volatile notes. Ripe, round, fresh, flat and sweet palate with burnt matchstick, honey, baked quince, pineapple, grassy, leesy flavours. If you like your viognier sweet this is it. Pair it with spicy dishes for best results.Tasted: 29 July 2011Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
