Rioja Alavesa, Rioja, SpainSmoked meat, tobacco, earthy, peppery, black cherry jam, vanilla, prune, saddle leather and tobacco with a bit of cedar, Band-Aid and barnyard. Rich, round, dry, supple but grainy tannins on the palate. Floral, coffee, spicy, licorice, prune, cherry jam, leather, plum, smoky, savoury flavours with a meaty, vanilla finish. Good complexity but young with some tannins to shed.
