8th Generation Vineyard Chardonnay Frizzante Unoaked 2009
Okanagan Falls, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaI've tasted this wine a couple of times at walkabout but finally got it to open it on the bench where there are far less distractions. This prosecco knockoff hits all the right notes from start to finish. Clean fresh delightfully fizzy. They use the carbon dioxide from the first fermentation and somehow put it back in the bottle before bottling and it works. Juicy fruity clean and fresh with hint of apricots. Novel and tasty what a great idea.
