Farnese Trebbiano d'Abruzzo 2009
Abruzzo, ItalyI'm always surprised by the Farnese wines. Skinny and dry it still comes with a hint of orange blossoms and just enough fruit to pull of its attractive price point. The palate is a fresh mix of lime, orange and a bit of tinned fruit and cardboard. Would be the perfect palate cleanser for most cream-based pasta dishes or linguine vongole. Good value.Tasted: 04 June 2011Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $9.00 | 750ml | specialty listing |
