Arrowleaf Merlot 2008

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaMid-valley merlot that is barrel aged for one year in both French and American oak. This is ripe stuff with a big sweet attack of spicy black cherry fruit and dried herbs with plenty of alcohol. The finish is smooth and sleek with some awkward acidity poking through at the end. Try it with grilled meats.Tasted: 26 June 2011Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
