Montilla-Moriles, SpainThis is an Oloroso style with a bit of sweet Pedro Ximénez added. Amber walnut colour. Cedar, spicy, peppery, walnut, rancio, raisin, toffee, dried ginger and earth aromas. Fresh, rich, elegant and round palate with medium sweetness. Very spicy, walnut, toffee, peppery, tobacco, cedar, dried fig and dried apricot flavours. Long finish with a touch of astringency lends this to drink with dried fruits or perhaps a Tandoori chicken.
