Rio Torto, Cima Corga, Douro Valley, Northern Portugal, PortugalBig dark cherry colour. Peppery, black tea, chocolate, black cherry jam, smoky, black liquorice, floral aromas. Good aromas but somewhat closed in right now. Rich, full, juicy, warm, sweet but balanced with some very youthful tannin. Fiery with black tea, black liquorice, fig, blackberry, smoky, prune, tobacco, walnut flavours. Very fine concentration and intensity but very youthful.
