Red Rooster Meritage Reserve 2008

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaBig smoky oak, vanilla, coffee, cedar, menthol, peppery, prune, clove aromas. Dry, tight, lean, somewhat astringent palate and very warm with green tannins. Huge smoky, toasted oak, resin, peppery, vanilla, prune, bell pepper and tobacco flavours. Too much oak and heat to really appreciate the fruit.
