Valdepeñas, Castilla-La Mancha, SpainSpicy, curry, meaty, gamey, cherry jam, prune, smoky, floral, saddle leather, tobacco, carrot top, barnyard, cigar aromas with a note of stewed black tea. Round, dry, elegant, slightly tannic palate with good acidity. Peppery, tobacco, smoky, meaty, dried herb, prune, cherry, saddle leather, and rooty, earthy, cigar flavours. A bit lean and chunky on the finish but has some intensity and length. Drink now with rare beef or keep for 2-4 years.
