Yecla, Valencia and Murcia, SpainBig smoky bacon, barnyard, leather, meaty, gamey, liquorice, savoury, floral, blackberry jam, black cherry, garrigue aromas. Ripe, round, dry, supple, fresh palate with light, fine tannins and juicy acidity. Peppery, blackberry, black cherry, coffee, vanilla, cedar, leather, earthy, meaty, liquorice root and cedar flavours. Youthful and fruit with some tannins to shed but good finesse and very expressive. Needs 2-4 years.
