Belle Glos Pinot Noir Taylor Vineyard 2009

Sonoma Coast, Sonoma County, California, United StatesSimilar in style to the other two single vineyards - Alturas and Clarke and Telephone, the Taylor comes with a touch more finesse and complexity. Spicy, barnyard, celery root, compost and liquorice dominate the nose with flecks of vanilla, strawberry jam, raspberry and cocoa aromas. Ripe, rich, full, warm and juicy on the palate with good finesse and tannins. Strawberry, spicy, orange, and vanilla, licorice, floral, cherry jam, cocoa, chocolate, tobacco and tea flavours. A bit warm and oaky in the style but with delicacy and fruit composition. Good value in this price range.Tasted: 17 February 2011Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
