Joel Gott Zinfandel 2008
California, United StatesDry-farmed, old, head-trained vines in Lodi and Amador are behind the intense spicy bramble black fruit aromas that mark the nose of this wine. The palate is a spicy, mix of juicy, blackberry, liquorice, cedar and raspberry, tobacco and bramble aromas. Ripe, rich, round, slightly tannic and warm palate with fresh acidity. Chocolate, blackberry, raspberry jam flavours. Only 25 percent new American oak is used.Tasted: 21 January 2011Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:SK | $20.00 | 750ml | |
