Piedmont, ItalyBig ash, barnyard, meaty, medicinal, resin, smoky, earthy nose. Ripe, rich, round, full palate with supple tannins and good acidity. Peppery, meaty, smoky, black cherry, plum, earthy, liquorice aromas. Well balanced with good intensity but somewhat at odds with its slightly rustic, dirty aromas.
