Averill Creek Vineyard Pinot Gris 2008

Cowichan Valley, Vancouver Island, British Columbia, CanadaVery nutty, creamy, buttery, bruised apple, honey, waxy, mature aromas. Fresh, elegant, somewhat tart, skinny palate with buttery, honeyed, lemon, diacetyl flavours. Seems a bit tired on the nose and mature looking but there is plenty of lively acidity on the palate. Try this with simple seafood and shellfish dishes.Tasted: 11 January 2011Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
