Mil Piedras Malbec 2008

Valle de Uco, Tunuyán, Central Region, Mendoza, ArgentinaMil Piedras (one thousand stones) malbec is estate grown at Vista Flores in the Valle de Uco at just over 1000 metres. The stony soil is reflected in its mineral, floral nose and dry dusty entry. The flavours are a mix of dried fruits, bright acidity and stony, dusty minerality in the aftertaste. A perfect dinner wine for any kind of grilled meats or birds. Good value.Tasted: 28 December 2010Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
