Kuyen 2008
Valle del Maipo, Region del Valle Central, ChileIt is hard to believe this label is eight years old but as the site ages the wine gets better. Never too showy, Kuyen is a wine to contemplate. Grown bio-dynamically the fruit is pure, its bay leaf, Maipo savoury minty aromas fresh and substantial. On the palate you get black fruit, olives and spice and floral earthy undercurrents. The blend is49/34/17 syrah/cabernet sauvignon/carmenère all aged in French oak. Winemaker Alvaro Espinosa made 1000 cases.Tasted: 07 December 2010Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $29.00 | 750ml | speculative listing - Liquid Art Selections |
