J Vineyards Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast 2007
Sonoma Coast, Sonoma County, California, United StatesFrom vineyards in the western area of the Sonoma Coast, mostly in the Freestone area as well as the extreme Russian River. Spicy, carrot, dill, tobacco leaf rose, strawberry, licorice, compost, barnyard, vanilla aromas. Dry, tight, elegant and juicy palate with light tannins but freshness. Rhubarb, strawberry, celery, vanilla, tobacco, herbal, coffee, cinnamon and dill flavours. Long and elegant with juicy fruit and an exotic spice finish. Fine effort, drink now or keep for 2-5 years. This edition and the Barrel 16 certainly exhibit some of the best characteristics of the cool Sonoma region from any of the producers.Tasted: 02 December 2010Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $70.00 | 750ml | Estimated Retail |
