Gray Monk Gewürztraminer 2009

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe fruit comes off a mix of vineyards in Kelowna and Kaleden. Expect a full, rich, nose of litchi fruit, peaches and spice. The flavours are similar with ginger, melon, tropical notes and a touch of sausage meat. Good ripeness here and less rind-y characters this year makes for a better wine. Try this with patés and assorted cold slice meats and cheeses.Tasted: 12 December 2010Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
