Mosel, GermanyDr. L comes off steep slopes and slate soil so it's Mosel in the elegant, racy style. The '09 appears a pinch drier, which we like, yet with all that crunchy ripe red apple fruit, citrus, mango and slate aromas. Fresh and crisp it has enough sweetness to tame spicy dishes but with enough citrus to clean up after itself on the palate. Ready to drink.
