Desert Wind Ruah 2008

Columbia Valley, Washington, United StatesRuah '08 is a 45/40/15 mix of merlot/cabernet sauvignon/cabernet franc from the famed Wahluke Slope site. The nose is an aromatic cedar, chocolate, black fruit affair with very similar flavours mixed with black liquorice and a hint of dried herbs. The tannins are lean and dry pointing to more bottle time or big piece of grilled meat. The name Ruah comes from the ancient Hebrew for wind, breath, or spirit.Tasted: 19 December 2010Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
