Carmen Reserva Merlot 2008
Valle del Cachapoal, Valle del Rapel, Region del Valle Central, ChileWarm leafy red fruit nose with bits of spice and dried herbs...carmenère? The attack is soft and dense with black olive, cedar, herbal, tobacco notes with black cherry flecks in the finish. The tannins are a touch rustic but otherwise this wine would be welcome around the barbecue.Tasted: 05 December 2010Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $14.00 | 750ml | specialty listing |
