Baillie-Grohman Pinot Noir 2009
Creston, British Columbia, CanadaMenthol, tobacco leaf, cedar herbal, rhubarb aromas with bits of cherry and leather. Dry, tight, somewhat austere palate with slightly under ripe tannins. Coffee, leather, prune, rhubarb, stewed cherry flavours. It shows potential but the first edition, aged some nine months in 15 percent new oak, is a bit too herbal.Tasted: 07 December 2010Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $25.00 | 750ml | Winery Direct or Vintage West Wine Marketing |
