Gevrey-Chambertin, Côtes de Nuits, Côte d'Or, Burgundy, FranceFloral, spicy, herbal, strawberry, carrot, menthol, smoky, barnyard aromas, good complexity. Dry, full, supple, juicy and intense palate with light tannins but good finesse and concentration. Cherry, raspberry, orange, mineral, spicy, tobacco, carrot, meaty, barnyard flavours. A bit tannic and tart now but has very good intensity and length with fruit. Fine effort, 3-7 years.The Clos Saint-Jacques, a 17-acre vineyard in the center of the slope, is generally considered to be one of the two finest premiers crus of Gevrey.
