Beaune, Côte de Beaune, Côte d'Or, Burgundy, FranceFrom old vines. Ripe cherry, prune, banryard, gamey, tobacco, rhubarb, orange, sauvage aromas. Dry, tight, austere, somewhat zippy and tannic palate. Raspberry, spicy, tobacco, orange, mineral, compost, barnyard, saddle leather flavours. Still tight and bony with fresh acidity, needs 2-5 years to round out but has good depth.
