Leyda Sauvignon Blanc Garuma Vineyard 2009
Valle de Leyda, Valle de San Antonio, Region de Aconcagua, ChilePassion fruit, grapefruit, smoky jalapeno, guava nose with light bell pepper and nettle aromas. Rich, ripe, round and full with good fresh acidity and a creamy texture. More smoky jalapeno, roasted bell pepper and passion fruit mark the nose with flecks of green apple, grapefruit, lemon grass and melon flavours. Fairly warm but with fine concentration, texture and intensity. It finishes on the slightly more herbal side. Leyda is coming into its own.Tasted: 15 November 2010Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $19.00 | 750ml | specialty listing |
