Giuseppe Mascarello Barolo Villero 2003
Castiglione Falletto, Cuneo, Piedmont, ItalyRuby cherry colour. Cherry jam, olive, spicy, waxy, light tar, floral nose with bits of tobacco and gamey, dried herb aromas. Ripe, round, dry, supple and fresh palate with a touch of alcohol in the finish. Cherry, strawberry jam, tar, tobacco, meaty, coffee grind, almond, smoky flavours. A wine of good finesse and elegance despite the hot vintage. Delicious and balanced, drink now-7 years.Tasted: 01 November 2010Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $140.00 | 750ml | speculative - Stile Enterprises |
