Emiliana Gé 2006
Valle del Colchagua, Valle del Rapel, Region del Valle Central, ChileThis Biodynamic certified label is the best lots and barrels from Coyam but ends up with a slightly different blend with more syrah and no mourvèdre or petit verdot. Spicy, cedar, peppery, cassis jam, blackberry, menthol, bay, vanilla, chocolate, celery salt, meaty, savoury, light barnyard aromas. Rich, ripe, round, supple palate but warm and fresh. Eucalyptus, curry, blackberry, black cherry, coffee, vanilla, peppery, sage, smoky, cedar flavours with some tobacco and roasted meat on the finish. It is warm but with excellent fruit and finesse for its alcohol level. Good now but will improve with 2-4 years.Tasted: 15 November 2010Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $100.00 | 750ml | estimated retail |
