Doña Paula Shiraz Malbec 2008
Luján de Cuyo, Northern Region, Mendoza, ArgentinaAromatic meaty, leather, sausage, coffee, roasted pepper nose with bits of prune, resin and some funky aromas. Dry, warm, fresh, supple palate with smoky, coffee, resin, prune plum, sausage, liquorice, orange flavours. Somewhat oaky and a bit overripe with some acidity poking through. Too Oz-like. Love to see a little less acidity and more syrah character not shiraz.Tasted: 19 November 2010Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $20.95 | 750ml | special order - Winspeer |
