Chateau Canon La Gaffelière 2007
Saint Émilion, Libourne, Bordeaux, FrancePeppery, tobacco, barnyard, coffee, prune, olive, dill, strong meaty, Band-Aid (Brettanomyces) aromas. Dry, round, light and elegant but lean with smoky, coffee, saddle leather, olive, tobacco flavours with more meaty, rooty, Band-Aid notes. Good finesse and a bit chunky but delicate and light. The detraction is the low fruit and the obvious presence of Brettanomyces at such a young age.
