St. Hallett Faith Shiraz 2008

Barossa Valley, South Australia, AustraliaDeep cherry colour. Smoky, meaty, barnyard, licorice root, tobacco, coffee, black cherry, blueberry, peppery, vanilla aromas. Rich, ripe, round, tart, slightly sweet palate with supple tannins. Warm with blueberry, black cherry, vanilla, coffee, spicy, chocolate, tobacco, gamey flavours. Good fruit intensity but the finish is just to tart and warm for balance. Serve this with lamb stew.Tasted: 09 October 2010Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
