Rollingdale Pinot Gris Icewine 2008
Naramata Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaLight gold colour. Slightly mature nose with honey, butter, citrus, baked pear, plasticene aromas. Rich, round, elegant but slightly fat and sweet palate. Baked pear, waxy, honey, nutty, candied citrus, butterscotch and apricot flavours. A bit unusual but has good fruit and intensity for more near-term consumption.
