Marcel Lapierre Morgon 2009

Morgon, Beaujolais Villages, Beaujolais, Burgundy, FranceSmoky, leather, meaty, Band-Aid/Brett notes, black cherry, earthy, rooty aromas. Dry, elegant but lean and slightly tart with floral, meaty, Oxo, leather, smoked tomato, peppery, resin and black cherry flavours. Lacks ripeness and purity. Disappointing given all the hype surrounding the vintage.Tasted: 17 October 2010Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
