Waiheke Island, Auckland, North Island, New ZealandThis black label version is Man O' War's top tier shiraz. This one takes its name from the dreadnaught ships embodying speed and power. Peppery, floral, iodine, savoury, menthol, saddle leather, tobacco, black cherry, meaty, vanilla aromas. Dry, round, supple, full but elegant palate with light, lean tannins. Vanilla, spicy, coffee, licorice root, resin, herbal, savoury, cherry, plum flavours with a tobacco leaf, meaty, warm finish. Good elegance and intensity with an herbal touch.
