Cobos Bramare Malbec Marchiori Vineyard 2006

Luján de Cuyo, Northern Region, Mendoza, ArgentinaThis is half Paul Hobbs and half Marchiori Vineyard. Expect a big powerful alcoholic red with weight, fruit and tannins. The nose is an exuberant, spicy, floral, savoury, meaty, mineral affair that lasts forever. Super ripe and luscious on entry it is packed full of warm soft, grainy tannins and rich plummy juicy fruit. Fine intensity and length with a powerful, savoury peppery finish. Needs five years to sing and ten or more to be a symphony. If you like big alcohol and power all balanced this is the wine for you. Drink through 2025.Tasted: 15 September 2010Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
