Aces Syrah 2007

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaDank earth, meaty, mercaptan, leesy, espresso, milk chocolate, vanilla, stewed prune, cooked blackberry, resiny, savoury aromas. Round, full, supple palate with chocolate, espresso, pruny, cherry cola, vanilla, stewed berry, tobacco leaf, black tea flavours with some light, green tannins on the finish. Somewhat formulaic style with big toasted oak to dominate the fruit. A good start but the price is unrealistic, particularly for the quality.Tasted: 05 September 2010Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
