Vina Maipo Carmenère 2008
Valle de Casablanca, Region de Aconcagua, ChileFine dark colour previews a leafy spicy nose with bits of chocolate and cran-cherry. The palate follows suit with a smooth but peppery red fruit flavour. Pretty good carmenère character for not a lot of money. Think hamburgers, grilled flank steak ribs even meaty pasta dishes. Great for parties. Decant for 30 minutes to get the best out of this bottle.Tasted: 07 August 2010Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $13.00 | 750ml |
