Laughing Stock Vineyards Syrah +24/9 2008

Naramata Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaSpicy, vanilla, mocha, peppery, barnyard, blackberry, savoury aromas. Round, smooth, dry, fresh and warm palate with light tannins. Coffee, coconut, vanilla, peppery, spicy, chocolate, blackberry, tobacco leaf, meaty flavours with a cedary, green tea note on the finish. Warm and well-balanced but very oaky at this point. Next step a little less winemaking and little more soul. Give this another year or two in bottle for best results. This is the first syrah release at LS using East Bench Osoyoos vineyard fruit. The blend is 92 percent syrah with 8 percent viognier. Tasted: 28 August 2010Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
