California, United StatesThe KJ syrah is super ripe with lush fruit flavours of peppery boysenberry and blackberry jam with bits of meaty spicy gamy notes. The fruit comes off an amazing array of sites in Mendocino County, Santa Barbara County, San Luis Obispo County and Sonoma County. The fruit is impressively rich and dark but with that California sweetness. It is all aged ten months 70/30 mix of French and American oak.
