Brandlin Cabernet Sauvignon 2004
Mount Veeder, Napa Valley, California, United StatesCassis, blackberry jam, spicy, liquorice nose with bits of chocolate, saddle leather, tobacco, pepper, iron, pencil lead and cedar aromas. There is fine complexity in what is a ripe, full, warm, supple cabernet. Look for blackberry/cassis, coffee, tobacco, cedar and black olive flavours with a leather, mineral, black pepper finish. Although it finishes a bit hot, there is great fruit and texture here for current drinking or keep for 2-5 years. Has improved over the last 3 years in bottle.Tasted: 29 August 2010Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $94.00 | 750ml | speculative - Icon Fine Wine and Spirits |
