Yering Station Chardonnay 2006
Yarra Valley, Victoria, AustraliaAt Yering Station the chardonnay is picked earlier producing tighter flavours of nectarine skin, citrus and green melon all fermented in oak, 25% of which is new. Despite its age going on five years it is remarkably fresh and together with a fine mineral/flinty undertone. A dry, fresh, elegant style. Try this with shellfish. Bring on the new vintage.Tasted: 12 July 2010Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $27.00 | 750ml | speculative listing - Select Wine Merchants |
