Vina Maipo Sauvignon Blanc 2009
Valle de Casablanca, Region de Aconcagua, ChileDry grassy citrus aromas and flavours that lack any serious fruity character. The palate has feint hints of gooseberry but the dryness and the grass overtake the palate in the finish. Simple sauvignon that lacks real character. The price is fair but for anther dollar or tow you have myriad choices from South Africa, New Zealand and Chile.Tasted: 25 July 2010Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $13.00 | 750ml |
