Tedeschi Amarone della Valpolicella Capitel Monte Olmi 2004

Pedemonte Valpolicella, Verona, Veneto, ItalySpicy, savoury, smoky, licorice, chocolate, black cherry, plum, tobacco, and coffee aromas with a touch of barnyard and roast meat. Rich, concentrated and ripe with smooth tannins, good acidity, and a low level of sweetness. Big coffee, tobacco, bitter chocolate, peppery, savoury, prune, black cherry and licorice flavours. It has good acid and power, but with finesse. Best in 5-10 years. A fine, sweeter vintage full of fruit.Tasted: 14 July 2010Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
