Champagne Lanson Le Rosé Brut Rosé NV

Champagne, FranceRosé bubbles are in, but Lanson has been making this stylish, delicate wine since the 1950s, one of the first ever Rosés in Champagne. Its enticing pale salmon colour is a result of the assemblage or blending of 55/30/15 pinot noir, chardonnay and pinot meunier with a small amount of still pinot noir from Bouzy. Expect a whiff of toasted lees and biscuit with baked pear, mineral, citrus notes and what I can say now is the freshness you get from Lanson’s no malo wines. The flavours are a riot of nutty, toasty, mineral, cherry, citrus and green apple flavours. Dry, crisp, but with fine elegance. Impressive.Tasted: 09 December 2017Tasted by: Prices:
