Atteca Old Vines Vieilles Vignes 2008

Calatayud, Aragon, SpainBig black liquorice, smoky, garrigue, spicy, floral, black cherry jam, plum slate and black pepper aromas. Ripe, rich round and dry with a warm, fresh palate with light tannins. Smoky, garrigue, menthol, ash, peppery, black cherry jam, black plum, savoury flavours with an orange and spice finish. A bit young and warm at this stage but has good fruit and finesse. Drink now or over the next three years. Solid value here.Tasted: 16 July 2010Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
