Laughing Stock Vineyards Viognier +1/10 2009

Naramata Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaA first viognier from Laughing Stock is has a buttery, candied ginger, leesy, orange, honey, mineral, slightly floral nose. Round, rich, warm, slightly sweet entry with fresh acidity and more honey, candied orange peel, ginger, buttery, vanilla, anise, floral flavours. Finish is very warm and somewhat sweet with a bit of butterscotch and buttered popcorn. A fun sipping style that should be leaned out going forward to make it more food friendly. That said Thai or Indian dishes would work here.Tasted: 01 June 2010Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
