Hawkes Bay, North Island, New ZealandSmoky, peppery, tobacco, black cherry, cassis, vanilla, coffee, floral, saddle leather, barnyard aromas. Rich, round, full bodied palate but somewhat tart with grainy tannins. Coffee bean, peppery, cola, tobacco, dried herbs, black olive, green bean, cassis, leather flavours. Again, has finesse and concentration but it's a cooler style with some apparent acidity on the finish.
