Niagara Peninsula, Ontario, CanadaFrom the cellar. Now ten years on, this is a deep burnished gold, with dark honey, caramelized nuts, golden raisins, ash, fine peppery / ginger spicing on a thick, unctuous palate. Creme brûlée and vanilla linger on the spicy finish. This still has persistent and driving fine acidity to carry to the end, one that almost crunches with honeycomb. Well made icewine can certainly age, beautifully, and this is a prime example.Tasted: 08 June 2017Tasted by: Prices:
Niagara Peninsula, Ontario, CanadaBig orange peel, nectarine, beach ball, spicy, baked green apple nose with a touch of pear and butter. Fresh, round, elegant palate with butter, baked nectarine, pear, orange, mineral, green apple and plasticene flavours. Good finesse but lacking a bit in intensity on the finish.Tasted: 11 April 2010Tasted by: Prices:
