Moro River Valley, Abruzzo, ItalyFarnese has always found a way of getting fairly decent juice into a bottle at a very fair price as is the case with this '08 sangiovese from Abruzzi. The warmer climes add a little heft to the sangiovese. The rest is simply a bit of roasted earth, a touch of plums and hint of spice. The good news is the palate refreshes as the wine slide downs.
